Code of Conduct

Where this applies

Every AI Anytime space: the Discord server, WhatsApp groups, GitHub repositories and issue threads, workshops, bootcamps, hackathons, conference sessions, and any event run under our name — online or in person.

What we expect

• Respect everyone. Regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, experience level, or background.
• Answer the beginner properly.Half this community is learning. "Just read the docs" is not an answer, and making someone feel stupid for asking costs us more than the question did.
• Be constructive. Criticise the approach, the code, or the claim — not the person. Strong technical disagreement is welcome and is most of the point.
• Give credit. Cite sources, link the repository you borrowed from, and name the person whose idea you are building on.
• Stay on topic and keep it useful. Search before asking, post in the right channel, and share what worked once you solve it.
• Follow moderator guidance. If a moderator asks you to stop or move a discussion, do it first and take it up afterwards if you disagree.

What is not acceptable

• Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation in any form, including unwelcome attention after being asked to stop.
• Threatening, violent, or abusive language, and slurs of any kind.
• Sexually explicit or otherwise offensive content, imagery, or usernames.
• Publishing someone's private information — real name, address, employer, or messages — without their consent.
• Spam, unsolicited promotion, recruitment blasts, referral links, and scraping the member list to DM people.
• Misusing community intellectual property, or passing off our material as your own.
• Sustained disruption of a discussion, talk, workshop, or event.

A note on AI-generated content

Using a model to help write an answer is fine. Pasting an unverified model output as though you tested it is not — it wastes the time of everyone who tries it. If you have not run it, say so.

Reporting a breach

Email contact@aianytime.net, or message any moderator directly in Discord. Include what happened, where, and when, plus screenshots if you have them.

Reports are handled privately. We will not share your identity with the person reported without your agreement, and reporting something in good faith will never be held against you — including if it turns out to be a misunderstanding.

What happens next

Responses are scaled to what happened, and we act quickly where someone's safety is involved:

• A private word — for a first, minor, or probably-unintentional breach.
• A formal warning — with conditions on continued participation.
• Temporary removal — from one space or all of them, for a set period.
• Permanent removal — for serious breaches, or for repeating one after a warning.

Harassment and threats skip straight to removal. If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the notice and it will be reviewed by someone who was not involved.
